Â
Yesterday, Sunday, was a great day. I was thinking about it all day. How I was having fun, I was relaxed, and the day seemed to last forever. This led me to think to myself why did I enjoy my day so much and why not have every day like this one?
I came to the conclusion that I’m at an age where I’m absolutely blissed out if I just do all the things I love and I thought I would share some of them with you today.Â
I want to grow, prepare, and eat delicious plant-based whole food. This means having my hands in the dirt tending to my garden, watching it grow, pulling weeds, and watching the birds making families around me while I’m out there. I can spend 8 hours doing that and be very content and happy. Making the food. I love cooking and especially love plant-based cooking. Learning how to preserve and use the food from my garden is a new learning experience every year. The eating part. Well, we all love eating, don’t we? I think my goal this year is to make it not just delicious but...

Every spring and fall I always get this urge to reset my energy my body, mind, and soul. It's as if over the winter and summer things get all clogged up and I need to clear everything and reset.Â
I reset my eating habits, and my fitness, balance my stress levels, and make sure I’m having plenty of fun.Â
I check in with myself to see what it is I need and I make sure I do it at the highest level I can.Â
It's usually about 8 weeks and by the end, I feel amazing!
Now, this usually takes place in May but I’ve been traveling which makes me feel like I need this even more so I’m looking forward to getting started.
I always start with food because it has a huge effect on my energy and it gives me an immediate boost. IÂ also love doing it, the cooking the planning, and the growing of the food. Next week I really get started with all my gardening and if you want to follow me to see what it is I do, then join me on Instagram @tinastinsoncoach

Some of the things I focus on are:
This is what goes through my head when I come on any platform to share my message, my work, and what I’ve learned that I know will help women.Â
I feel like if I speak from my soul and my truth that it will be too much. It’s a bit too edgy. That you might think I’m too much or maybe going a little too far.Â
I feel it might trigger some women because what I believe is so far from society's norm. But as I said in my last blog and I’ll say it again. When did society's norm ever support women? Support women in a way where they can step into their power and be fully themselves without being judged on every level. It just doesn’t.Â
This is what holds me back in my business. Holds me back from speaking about what I know to be true.
I know or believe some people, men & women, might think it's too extreme. I believe the opposite. That when women mute themselves to make others comfortable or to reduce friction and confrontation. Thats fucking extreme. Screw that!Â
I feel like just as I’m afr...
Is It Selfish To Put Yourself First
Â
Nowadays I try to always put myself first. But sometimes the old me sneaks through.Â
Â
You might be familiar with the version. I was a top-notch people pleaser, always there to make everyone happy, and to always make sure to avoid all confrontations. I would change into the type of person I thought the person I was with wanted me to be. I always made sure everyone around me was comfortable and happy. Does this sound familiar to you? Are you or have you been in the past a people pleaser?
Â
This was a survival technique I learned from having to avoid the abusive behavior I experienced for most of my life. I lived like this for over 20 years but even after I removed myself from the situation it was such a habit, being in survival mode, that it took me a few more years to break free.Â
Â
What happens to a person who does everything to please others, always takes care of others, and puts herself last?
They lose themselves, they don’t know what t...
Want To Get Unstuck In Life? This Is The First Step
Â
I know this sounds like a big promise to someone that has been stuck for a long time or someone who might have been trying to get unstuck for a while. However, I’ve noticed a lot of stuck people including myself forget this one first step that I think is the most important.
Â
What do you want? What do you want to experience in your life?Â
Â
You might say, “I don’t know, that’s why I’m stuck”
Well of course I’m going to show you how to figure this out but before I start I want to talk about why it’s important to know this first.Â
Â
You know how when you go on an important road trip and you're starting from one place and you want to get to another? Say you’re driving from NY and you're headed to LA. You have a starting point and then a destination.Â
Â
Well, in order to get somewhere in our life we need the same thing. We don’t need to be “exact” at first. Not until we get closer. But we do need o have a general idea to get ...
We all know that we need to allow ourselves to rest in order to put our best version of ourselves into the world but very few of us actually do this.
Â
This is just one of the pressures we put on ourselves, to do, do, do, and then do more.Â
Â
We also don’t allow ourselves any time to feel the negative feelings that are just a part of life.Â
Â
You see there is this pressure to always be positive, to raise our vibration, to be a bright ray of sunshine in order to attract this same energy into our lives.Â
Â
The truth is, it’s not just okay for you to be not okay, but it’s also necessary to be not okay in order for us to process these feelings.
Â
If we mask these feelings, if we push them down and try to hold them there. They will resurface, they are still there, and you can’t positive mantra the shit out of them.Â
Â
There is a saying that Wayne Dyer said and I’m sure I’ll screw it up a bit, but here it goes. When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out, what comes out wh...
If you've been with me in the Soul Aligned Self Care world then you know that I'm very passionate about nutrition and using that to support and heal my body. If you're new here then I would like to share with you this passion. Â
It started in 2007 when I had a stroke and started eating a vegan diet and then in 2015 I became certified as a health coach and continued on to become certified as a culinary nutrition expert and educator and life coach. I've managed to put all these things together into one package to help my clients put the best version of themselves into the world while feeling incredible. I believe being mindful about what you put into your body to fuel your body is epically important. Â
The one time that this was very noticeable almost instantaneously was when I was training for a triathlon. During that time period, I also went vegan and so I knew how I felt before I was vegan and after. The difference was very noticeable. I had tons of energy, I recovered a lot qui...
What’s on the other side of your comfort zone? Magic, that's what!
So today is the spring equinox & a new moon in march of 2023. If you reading this at another time, don’t stop here because this message is a powerful message at any time.
I just think right now it's supercharged so it would be a shame not to take advantage of that.
Â
We all know that when we step out of our comfort zone there is always magic on the other side. Even when it doesn't turn out the way we want, it always helps us grow.Â
Â
Some of us also know that when we look at what we fear doing, it's almost always the one thing we need to do.
Â
Except for skydiving, that's a hard no for me. All I visualize with that is me vomiting and passing out mid-air which it not growth.Â
Â
Being in our comfort zone can be good sometimes. In times to celebrate and relish in our successes.
But don’t stay there too long. Only because we can't really grow there and it's human nature to need to grow.Â
Â
Comfort may feel safe...
Â
When I was a bit younger I was an award-winning people pleaser. All I focused on was how I could make everyone else happy and I rarely focused on myself.
One of the things I noticed disappear during this time period was my connection with myself, my intuition, and my trust in myself.
These are some pretty important things to have in your life so I was pretty unhappy and I was totally burnt out.Â
It took a major health emergency to wake me up too.Â
I definitely don’t want this for you or anyone for that matter and that's why I always share what I went through and what I learned.
It took me close to a decade to reprogram myself to know in my soul that when I put myself first everyone benefits, this is a long time. But you have to remember, I spent all of my life being a people pleaser before that. Even as a child. So you know, it takes some time to reprogram.Â
Why did it take so long? Well, I didn’t even really know that setting boundaries is what I needed so I was learning as I...
